Group Activities

The Delhi Senior Singers

A group that meets every Friday at ten. We practice a new program every three months or so. We sing oldies for the most part and a few more contemporary pieces.

About once each month we take our show on the road to bring joy and happiness to local retirement homes and several other venues.

Our merry crew is led by Sue (Strothers) and Jim Maltry (the one facing away in the photo). We welcome new voices if you are willing to attend regularly.

Arts & Crafts

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the craft room is open for all manner of creativity. Some like to paint or do diamond dots. Others prefer latch hook, sketching or painting ceramics. We even have one lunatic who sculpts giant paper mâché monstrosities, but perhaps he can be forgiven as it was a promo for one of his novels 🙂

Tentacled Frog?

So, join our happy crew and do whatever it is you do. We’d love to share your company as you share what’s in your heart. The doors are always open on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am until whenever you depart.

The mascot for our center is Filbert the Gnome. He stands out front each spring among the flowers. Click the image below to see how he was made!

Dancing

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am, some of our ladies like to line dance. This usually goes on until noon. But don’t be intimidated. Men are welcome too!
